Yankee Obsession

"Insert Quote Here" - Lauren McNamara

I say obsession, but it could be considered a hobby.
view of all my yankees at the time i started to write this post, yes a few more have appeared in my collection.

not forgetting those that have I have already burned but I like to keep the stickers on my wall.

Waikiki Melon. My first yankee which has now run out. Very fruity smell which fills the room easily.

Vanilla Cupcake. Being a baker and it being my birthday, my family and friends knew exactly what to get for me. The tealights are cute and nice to burn because it doesn't feel like you're burning away a lot of wax. The tumbler is better though because it is big enough to leave it burning by itself but is annoying as it only burns through the middle and the edges are left out.

vanilla lime, white gardenia and beach flowers that were in the circular burner
Tartlets are cute but do not have a wick so you have to buy a wax/tart burner. I picked up the blue heart burner from next and the circular burner was from amazon. However I have now started to use ramakins that are left over from puddings etc as they fit perfectly into the burner. You also get to eat the pudding before using them as a burner so it's a win-win situation.

My all time favourite sizes of yankee are their samplers. Unlike the tartlets they come with a wick and I burn them in a similar way of placing them into a ramakin. - this helps "catch" any wax that drips off them but most of the time they burn straight down the middle - Since taking these pictures there have been four more additions to my yankee family; Fruit fusion, Soft blanket, Pink Ladyslipper and Summer scoop. These were all bought in the yankee christmas sale.

That' all for now.
I'm planning to do a post on my wtj maybe?

Thanks.
Lauren.
